Do you remember Dominik, who just a few months ago was taking his first steps in the world of logistics? Today, this young man is a fully-fledged member of our team at Matex Transport, and his story shows that it’s worth believing in your dreams and grabbing every opportunity.
Dominik was one of the participants in our own Young Masters of Logistics internship programme. For six months he explored the secrets of logistics under the guidance of experienced professionals. We were impressed by his enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Not surprisingly, we offered him a full-time position as soon as the internship was over.
“It was like a dream come true!” – Dominik recalls. “I never thought I would find a job that would absorb me so quickly. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. I feel like I’m in a place where I can really develop”.
During his internship, Dominik had the exceptional opportunity to learn from the best. Anna, our Logistics Director, is a true industry legend. Thanks to her, Dominik learned the ins and outs of supply chain management and discovered how many variables need to be taken into account to make everything run like clockwork. In turn, Kasia, our customer relations specialist, taught him the art of negotiation and how to build lasting business relationships. Under their tutelage, Dominik is fast becoming a confident professional, ready for new challenges. He immediately set his sights on the highest level – instead of slowly working his way up through smaller companies, he decided to take the direct route and learn from the best.

It’s not only a great opportunity to gain practical knowledge, but also a chance to make valuable contacts. Thanks to the internship, I learned that logistics is not only about numbers and regulations, but also about teamwork, creativity and constantly looking for new solutions”.
